Shine - on wintry souls
time is short and life not long
flowers fade in autumn's glow
People come-people go
Live in vain, live not a life
quick successions of speedy time
For what?
a moment towards the empty grave
soon filled - too soon - to no avail
time wasted-candle burnt
ash remains of no life lived
shine-on wintry souls
so spring may come
and fade to eternity
